On April 30, 2011 the Original Barney's Beanery held a Firefighters Chili Cook-off to raise money for the Alicia Ann Rusch Burn Foundation. Firefighters from West Hollywood Stations 7 and 8, as well as Firefighters from Santa Ana, Marina Del Rey, Long Beach, and Santa Monica faced off in a massive Chili showdown. The winner, Firefighter Sheila Kelliher, will have her chili featured on the Barney's Beanery menu for 90 days this summer. All proceeds from the sale of this fine chili will go to the Alicia Ann Rusch Burn Foundation.
